She gave me my partner back
I had originally heard of Amy through a friend, who had great results with her horses and some only after one treatment. I have several horses and one of which is a high performance dressage horse. This horse was learning new things and using new muscles, so already some stiffness came along but then he had a big fall; leaving him sore and very out of alignment. At this time I was in need of a thorough therapist, who could address my horses fall, his career, the strong partnership and deep love I have for this horse and my herd as a whole. I have had many come out for our horses previously but nothing could compare to the level of time and full body coverage Amy spends on my horses.
One of many amazing attributes about Amy is she puts her whole body and heart into the equine massages and therapy. A brief conversation and one look at the my dressage horse and Amy knew right away what the problem was. She is not only extremely attentive when listening to the owner but with the horse(s) too. She adjusts pressure, her methods and strategy based on the horse requirements and their dislikes and likes. As an animal mom and owner understanding and making my children as comfortable and happy as possible is extremely important; which Amy did.
After a session with Amy it’s like getting a young, super healthy and energized horse back. Even my dressage horses’ conformation had visibly changed, his sternum was no longer rotated, shoulders and back even again and a rounded hind end once more. After one month of not being able to stretch down & forward, and a saddle always slipping to one side, we could do everything dressage and relaxing yet again. Amy always provides exemplary explanations, gives homework, exercises and stretches to do to help the muscles, and maintain correct body alignment. In addition to all this she even spends time teaching you some massaging, and extra tips and tricks for you to do between appointments.
All my horses she has worked with are so happy and filled with joy after she works on them. I’d never used another person. Amy is just so thorough, hard working, detail oriented and truly exudes empathy and passion. She gave me my main performance partner back and provided all my horses the ability to excel in each of their disciplines. Her work is so incredible that myself and family are blessed to have her as a equine care giver, therapist and friend. Thank you for providing my horse and horses with bliss, the capacity to grow, and their overall harmonious well-being. Thank you for all you do.
